Skills Generation values, encourages and practices sustainable and environmentally sound business operations, behaviours and activities.
As an organisation and as individuals we can proudly reel off an extensive list of the ways we apply sustainability measures and embrace environmentally positive actions in our day-to-day lives and work.
We realise though that there is always room for improvement, always so much more that can be done, so in 2024 we have decided to ramp up our commitment and launch the Skills Generation Sustainability Initiative.
Throughout the year we will be actively looking for ways to improve our environmental sustainability, to support and embrace new sustainability measures and encourage the Skills Generation Community to share and implement environmentally positive practices.
The Sustainability Initiative is a vehicle that enables us to share information about good practices already in place and new improvements as they are implemented. We will be looking at what we are already doing, and what our colleagues and friends are doing both in the workplace and in their own lives to reduce their environmental footprint. We will also be inviting the Skills Gen team to share their sustainability ‘hacks’ so we can all build new sustainable practices into our lives both at work and at home.
We are looking forward to seeing the positive difference and contribution we can make this year and beyond with the Skills Generation Sustainability Initiative.
