External Support Workers

Are you a learner with a disability who works with a paid or unpaid external support worker to assist you in your learning environment?

To develop the external support worker’s understanding of their responsibilities in this setting, the National Disability Coordination Officer Program and the Australian Disability Clearing House on Education and Training has developed an e-learning program. This program explains how your external support worker can best provide the support you may need.

Any learner using an external support person should be aware of the responsibilities of that person relevant to the studies you are undertaking. You and the external support worker are encouraged to participate in this e-learning course.
