Jackson rises to lofty heights with a perfect score

Pacific Pines State High School, Year 11 student Jackson, with Skills Generation AVI trainer Josh, celebrating Jacksons perfect score on the CASA RePL exam.

Pacific Pines State High School Year 11 student, Jackson, has earned the reputation as a Drone Ace at school after achieving the perfect score of 100% in his CASA remote pilot licence exam!

Jackson and a group of fellow Pacific Pines students recently completed AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) delivered at the school by Skills Generation through the Vocational Training in Schools program.

Students completing this accredited qualification can undertake the CASA remote pilot licence (RePL) exam. The licence allows the holder to commercially operate an Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone.

Encouraged by his trainer to take things to the next level, Jackson decided to join the rest of his class to sit for the CASA licencing exam – and he aced it!

Skills Generation Aviation trainer Josh has worked as a commercial drone pilot trainer for over five years, and of the hundreds of students he has taught, both adult learners and Senior school students, it’s been rare for him to witness a student receiving a perfect score on the remote pilot licence exam.

Skills Generation joins with Pacific Pines State High School and Jackson’s peers, friends and family to congratulate him on his significant accomplishment.

Well done Jackson. We are all 100% proud of you!
